Lovely spacious apartment beautifully designed. An oasis! The staff are fantastic and helpful. Positive: Beautiful space and attentive staff. Negative: Close to mosque

I'd recommend the property. It made the trip very worth it. Positive: The location was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were superb and very clean. The rooftop is a vibe. Negative: I didn't like that my stay was short

Amazing experience Positive: Hospitality was super! Apartment exceptionally clean. Indoor swiming pool was very cool and refreshing given the Lamu heat. Negative: Everything was great in the apartment but the view was limited to one room only.

Communication needs improvement, change who you leave in charge or your beautiful place won’t get the good reviews it de Positive: The aesthetic of this place is everything. The pool although I had a reaction to it later(too much chemicals poured in?). The kitchen has everything you’ll need, the work poured into this place can be seen, the owner should be proud of themselves. The people working there are nice. Negative: No response from the owner when we arrived(as two female solo travelers we felt unsafe and the lack of communication was unprofessional from the owners part). The five men who said they knew the place and took our luggages without our consent obviously overcharged us they could see the desperation on our faces after being left stranded, google map doesn’t help on the island(which is what I often use when owners don’t respond). Honestly the most unsafe I’ve felt in all my travel adventure. I wouldn’t come back. Oh not to mention Martin the one left in charge there who is so greedy will try to get cash out of you any chance he gets(speaking Swahili came in handy here)We bought water outside he accused us of taking the water 5liter that he sells for 200ksh. Instead of asking he goes right into accusations.

Positive: A very beautiful house with large apartments and the outstanding design/ architecture of Urko Sanchez Negative: The rooms could be better maintained, to keep the wonderful atmosphere alive
